I don't think that Rex Rebel should be defined by trans frontman Sam Bettens, but there's no doubt that Sam's unique vocals are something special. I liked K's Choice well enough, but Sam's new chapter is more interesting and fun. #indiepop

Baltimore calls themselves #psychpop. I think that might be a little too far. Maybe just #indiepop? I really want to go explore wherever this video was filmed.

I was a little late to M83, but a lot of really good stuff came out after Midnight City. Road Blaster is solid #synthpop that doesn't sound too distant from standard #indiepop these days.

Slenderbodies is super #airy #indiepop. The music video has a lovely marionette/diorama quality, but I could do without all of the out-of-focus time.

#Fun #indiepop has got to be my favorite genre. The video gets an A+ for style.

In addition to being super #catchy, Genghis Khan has an #awesomemusicvideo. I think it warrants a sequel for sure. Is the band still together? Their website looks like it hasn't been updated in 4 years. #indiepop #dance
